DBS SONG OF THE YEAR SEASON 2

 

The DBS Song of the year season 2 on Friday commenced with the auditioning of intending contestants for the grand prize of one million naira.


DRTV news correspondent Omonigho Edaah reports that the Chairman of the DBS Song of the year season two committee Mrs Obes Isonguyo notes  that this year's edition is going to be bigger and better.


Contestants of the DBS Warri Song of year season two on Friday ignored the early morning rain to converged on the premises of DBS Warri for the auditioning.


After the accreditation of the contestants and a brief charged to them, the contestants went for the business of the day which is the auditioning proper.


The contestants in a single file ushered  into the audition hall to perform before the judges.


The Chairman of the DBS Song of the year season two, Mrs Obes Isonguyo in an interview with newsmen said that Friday's auditioning  was to select fifty contestants to go into the quarter final stage.


Mrs Obes Isonguyo further stated that members of the public will be given room to vote for  contestants of their choice after the auditioning stage.


She said that the public can vote for the  contestants of their choice via www.dbswsongoftheyear.com.ng


Some of the contestants shared their experiences during their auditioning. 


Winner in this year's edition will be going home with one million naira and a recording deal, while the second position will go home with three hundred thousand naira and the third one hundred thousand naira.


The other seven contestants from the top ten will also go home with consolation prizes.
