The traditional Prime Minister of Agbarho Kingdom, Chief Erhiakpore Ubini and the four Kingmakers in the Kingdom known as Isuetches have passed a vote of confidence  on the Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, HRM William Onokpite1.

The traditional Prime Minister, Chief Erhiakpore Ubini and  Chief Sunny Anaughe who spoke on behalf of the Isuetches urged the Delta State Government, traditional rulers and the general public to disregard the purported protest at the Secretariat of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council Asaba last weekend.

Chief Sunny Anaughe noted that His Royal Majesty, HRM William Onokpite1, remains the Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom and was duly crowned by the four Kingmakers known as Isuetches inline with the tradition of Agbarho Kingdom.

He stressed that the revered monarch, HRM William Onokpite1, the Osuvie of Agbarho has been performing his royal duties as the traditional ruler of the ancient Agbarho Kingdom and since his assumption of the throne on 2nd December, 2018, the kingdom has witnessed tremendous peace and progress.

Chief Anaughe said they were thrown aback when they read on social media that some unknown persons claiming to be Agbarho indigenes stormed the Secretariat of Delta State Traditional Rulers Council Asaba calling for the reinstatement of Chief Samson Ogugu, who was dethroned according the laws and tradition of Agbarho Kingdom.

He stated  that after a careful look at the video, he found out that, the protesters are not Agbarho indigenes but miscreants hired by their paymaster to jeopardize the prevailing peace in Agbarho Kingdom and bring it back to its dark days.

Chief Anaughe added that, their action is not a reflection of the mind of Agbarho people who have passed that stage and are happy with the present monarch and adding that anyone that tries to breach the prevailing peace in the land will face the wrath of the gods of the land.

For his part the Traditional Prime Minister and Otota of Agbarho Kingdom, a legal luminary, Chief Erhiakpore Ubini said the action of the hired protesters was sub judice and unlawful  as the matter is before a competent court of jurisdiction.

He urged all parties to the matter to remain calm and wait for the outcome of the court case.

A vote of confidence was passed on the Osuvie of Agbarho Kingdom, HRM William Onokpite1, by all present.
