OKOBARO OF UGHIEVWEN KINGDOM CONFERS CHIEFTAINCY TITLE ON DESERVING SONS AND DAUGHTERS 

The palace of the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom was a beehive of social cultural activities as four prominent sons and daughters of the Kingdom were conferred with various traditional title in recognition of their contributions to the development of the kingdom 


Conferring the Chieftaincy titles on the deserving worthy  Urhobo sons and daughters, Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom, Owhawha the second disclosed that the recipients were honored with the titles as a result of their genuine commitment to the development of various communities and Urhobo land in general.



Owhawha the second who reminded the new chiefs that their titles have placed more responsibilities on them cautioned them not to use the titles to oppress the poor in their various communities but use it to better the lives of their people.

Okobaro Of Ughievwen Kingdom while presenting a copy of the holy bible to each of those conferred with the title urged them to follow biblical principle in their dealings with members of the public.



The Monarch told them to uphold their titles with dignity and prestige and remain worthy ambassadors of the Ughievwen Kingdom

In an interview some recipients of the Chieftaincy titles thanked the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom for the honour done on  them promising to do more for the growth of humanity and the Kingdom. 



A cross section of various cultural troupe were in display to add colour to the ceremony.

Amongst those conferred with chieftaincy title are Olorogun George  Obelikpeya and Linda Kpesu, Olorogun Lucky and Kero Ughelli
