Owhawha Sub-Clan,Ughievwen Kingdom In Ughelli South LGA, Passed Vote Of Confidence On Chief Godwin Okporoko As President General Of FOOC; Urges All To Disregard Media Publication That FOOC Executive Was Dissolved.

The people of Owhawha sub clan in Ughievwen Kingdom have said the Olorogun Godwin Okporoko led executive remained the recognized  executive of the Federated Organisation of Owhawha Communities and vowed to resist any attempt that will truncate the peace and security of the area.


The vote of confidence was passed on Thursday 7 September 2023 at a general meeting held in Otor-Owhawha Town Hall in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.



At the general meeting held at Otor-Owhawha town Hall, the people frowned on the action of some few elements, who plotted the dissolution of the Olorogun Godwin Okporoko led executive, urging them to tread the path of peace.


They said the people of Owhawha Sub clan in Ughievwen Kingdom are peace loving and law abiding adding that any action capable of disrupting the peace of the area and that of the entire state would not be encouraged.



According to the Chairman Board of trustees, Owhawha Subclan,Chief Macauley Dase and the community leaders  noted that  Olorogun Godwin Okporoko-led executive which was duly elected by the people was credible and generally accepted by the Federated Organisation of owhawha coomunities.

They people of Owhwha Subclan also resolved that henceforth no meeting should be done outside otor-owhawha town hall and and advise all to disregard the media circulation by the Okobaro of Ughievwen Kingdom that the Chief Godwin Okporoko led executive has been disolved.


They also passed a vote of confidence on the Otota of owhawha sub Clan Chief David Uhagwa, the President General of Federated Organisation of Owhawha Communities, Olorogun Godwin Okporoko thanked the people for the confidence reposed on him and his executive and promised to attract more infrastructural development to the people of Owhawha Sub-clan.



The meeting by the Owhawha Subclan was attended by the President Generals and people of Otor-whawha,Arhagba, Egbo-ide, Esaba, Otutuama, iwhre-Ogun, Ophorigbala, Otegbo,Okwemor and Otitiri community
