 WOMEN APPEAL TO GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI AND ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR CLEMENCY FOR CONDEMNED PRISON INMATES Warri- In the wake of justice system and arbitrations, prosecution of individuals who are condemned and reprimanded in prisons for too long, a time has continued to whip series of concerns and appeal for clemency. Against this backdrop, some concerned Women and Girls recently took to the Effurun roundabout to appeal to the Delta state Governor, Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori through the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice to give pardon to those reprimanded in various prisons for a long period of time. They added that they voted for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and also stood by him in prayers during his court case because they were certain that he will be instrumental to their plea.
