One of his greatest achievements as the Council boss then was the auctioning of Council properties which includes cars and other items.

Recent events have shed light on his true intentions and exposed his underlying greed for power. Etaga's actions have become increasingly self-serving, with his decisions and policies geared towards consolidating his own power rather than serving the best interests of the people he represents.

One of the most glaring examples of Hon. Paul Etaga's greed for power is his manipulation of the PDP Excos Ewu Ward 1 from 2014 to 2020. Etaga has been accused of using underhanded tactics to secure his position, including members intimidation, bribery, and anti-party activities. The same greed led him to change the name of John Oseropha who was nominated for appointment from Uto-Ewu block. 

In his bid to high hack the congress and install his puppets as Exco of Ewu Ward 1, he planned a coup with others for the second time to suspend the Party Chairman which he believes is blocking his ambition.

Despite widespread poverty and unemployment in Ewu, Etaga has focused on advancing his own political career rather than addressing the pressing issues facing the ward. His actions have left many disillusioned and disenchanted with the political establishment, further deepening the divide between party members .
