 NIGERIAN PROFESSOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE BAGS TWO AWARDS FOR HIS RESEARCH WORK. A Professor of Computer Science at Cape Penninsula University in South Africa Tiko Iyamu has bagged two awards for his research efforts. The awards consist of a rating of C2 of the National Research Foundation (NRF) and  a Platinum Award for Research Excellence in Publication.  The latter was based on an assessment of his submission in 2020 to the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) of South Africa. The Certificates of Transmission conveying both awards dated 28 February 2023 were signed by the vice chancellor of Cape Penninsula University, Prof. Chris Nhlapo.
