 UGHELLI NORTH LGA INAUGURATES LIVESTOCK MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE TO ENFORCE ANTI GRAZING LAW IN THE COUNCIL AREA Ughelli- On Thursday September 30th 2021 the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa signed into law the Anti Grazing Bill forwarded by the Delta State House Of Assembly thereby prohibiting open grazing in the state To ensure enforcement of the law, the Acting Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area and Head of Personnel Management HPM, Mr Timothy Ase on wednesday inaugurated a livestock management committee. The committee comprises farmers, herders and other stakeholders in Ughelli North. The committee will work out modalities for the movement of cattles in designated areas.
